Nanowrimo Virtual - Crossing the Threshold In-Person

Up until this moment your character might not know that they are about to run off into the night to fight off a pack of wild Chupacabra, but they are. We have reached the Point of No Return. Dun-Dun-Duh. Your character is now crossing the moment where they are leaving their ordinary world and stepping into the world of "special". How does it taste? Random question, I know, but hear me out. People just don't add that sense to their writing very often. Give it a try. Experiment. Anyhow, the new world your character has just entered can be literal or figurative. In example, did they step through a wardrobe into a magical forest or drive 10, 20, or 200 miles to a new town? Take care, this is where the vast majority of your novel will take place.
