Nanowrimo Virtual - The Ordeal In-Person

The truest test of your character's moxie has come at last. The Ordeal, the pit of despair, rock bottom. Do not be fooled. The climax has not yet come, but the end is nigh. Here your rag-tag, motley crew needs to be brought to their doom. Death and destruction await in this path now. This may be literal or symbolic. All that matters is that you, your characters, and your audience truly believes this is the make is or break it moment. Often thier lives or someone they love is at stake. Death shrouds. They confront the school bully that has been beating up thier little brother all year before the worst happens. This isn't a slam-dunk. They will have to lose all hope before the end. It is only then that they will be reborn a true Hero by cheating death.
