Our Stories: Mysteries of the Navajo Rug- Encore presentation Online

Arizona State University’s Dr. Eduardo Pagán shares the fascinating history of Navajo weaving in Arizona, through the story of a rare and unique rug. During the presentation, he will also discuss and show a portion of an episode from PBS's History Detectives television series, which featured this rug, and of which he was co-host from 2008-2013. Dr. Pagan is the Bob Stump Endowed Professor of History in the School of Humanities, Arts and Cultural Studies. He has authored several books, including Valley of the Guns, the Pleasant Valley War and the Trauma of Violence

Our Stories will be presented online until in-person program return to the Chandler Library and Chandler Museum. Produced as a collaboration between the Library and the Museum, this series presents diverse speakers who share unique Arizona and local history topics to a general audience throughout the year. The series is supported in part by the Chandler Friends of the Library.
