On June 19, 1865, enslaved people in Galveston, Texas, were told they were free. Juneteenth is a celebration of freedom and has been commemorated with parades, cook outs, and festivals. This year celebrate Juneteenth by making and displaying decorations associated with the holiday. Available while supplies last.
