CANCELLED Let's Talk: Opioids 101 & Harm Reduction

Join us for an overview on the opioid epidemic, the basics of harm reduction, and the dynamics of stigma. Learn about overdose statistics both nationally and locally here in Arizona. Understand the myths and realities of fentanyl, and learn about Naloxone; the laws on possession, distribution, and administration, as well as how it works to reverse an overdose.

In "Let's Talk" programs, learn about and openly discuss important issues that are impacting us, our loved ones, and our communities as a whole. With more knowledge, we can end stigma and become a stronger source of support, welcoming, and understanding for those around us. These programs are facilitated and led by trained community partners that have a goal of helping people All are welcome.

Thanks to the Arizona Community Foundation, our Monsoon Room is equipped with an assistive listening system. If you would like to use this system during the program, please speak with a staff member about borrowing a listening device prior to the start of the program.
