Getting a Head Start to College Admissions In-Person

College admissions get more competitive each cycle, it is important to plan ahead in order to stand out in a pool of highly qualified applicants. This presentation will be discussing strategies to help students differentiate themselves and understand how to develop their passions. Students will be able to walk away with tips on how to create their high school roadmap for success. Topics to be covered:  (1)Types of courses you should take to demonstrate challenging coursework while maintaining a manageable workload; (2) How to construct a personal story utilizing extracurricular activities; (3) Which standardized tests are the best fit for different types of students; ( 4)Time management skills to help you manage stress and manage efficiency. This program is free, and it provides resources to students to help empower them to develop their passions. Registration is required.
