Health Break: Reduce Stress with Mindfulness In-Person

Do you experience chronic stress? Do you struggle to enjoy your life because of an exhausting, frantic pace?  Do you find yourself living in survival mode? Chronic stress is not only bad for your mental health, but it can create diseases in your body that could be preventable.

Mindfulness is an intentional way to think about your thinking, to experience your experiences, and become more aware of your here-and-now. While mindfulness won’t change your stressors, it will change your ability to manage stress more effectively and may help you prevent illnesses.

Social Worker Kristi Stuckwisch will explain the impact of unhealthy stress levels in the body, the basics of mindfulness practice, and equip you with skills you can put into place today to improve your overall well-being.
