Valerie will be sharing the riveting and inspiring story of her daughter’s sudden decline and remarkable recovery, and how this disease affects one’s entire family.

Valerie Foster is an award-winning educator and memoirist who taught high school and college for over thirty years. Her first book was The Risk of Sorrow: Conversations with Holocaust Survivor, Helen Handler
