American Creed Screening and Discussion with Arizona PBS In-Person

Chandler Public Library and Arizona PBS invite you to a screening of highlights from the 2018 PBS documentary "American Creed," which explores the question, in a divided nation, what ideals do we share in common? Contribute to the national conversation through discussion led by KJZZ’s Steve Goldstein and a panelists including American Creed filmmaker Kate Stilley Steiner, Dr. Kathy Nakagawa, Dr. Keon McGuire, and Dr. Maria Eva Shivers. This event is open to the public and registration is suggested. In addition, educators can attend a special professional development session from 8:15- 8:45 to learn more about the National Writing Project and incorporating this film/discussion into lesson plans. Light refreshments are provided.
