The Vietnam War: A Film by Ken Burns & Lynn Novick Preview Screening
REGISTRATION IS NOW FULL. Chandler Public Library and Arizona PBS present this exclusive sneak preview of the upcoming "The Vietnam War," a film series by Ken Burns & Lynn Novick. This special preview has not been broadcasted, and features excerpts of the ten-part series that begins September 17 on PBS. After the screening, a panel of veterans will facilitate conversations based on the documentary's topics & themes.
The upcoming "Vietnam War" PBS film series tells the epic story of the war as it has never been told before. The series features testimony from Americans who fought in the war and other who opposed it, as well as Vietnamese combatants and civilians from both the winning and losing sides.
