Basha Library Open House In-Person

Chandler Basha Library invites the community to an Open House, April 10, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.  To better accommodate community needs, Chandler Basha Library’s space was reimagined and reconfigured. The inspiring physical space enables the community and students to interact with others, research and learn through print and digital resources or just sit and read in a warm, inviting environment. Patrons are invited to explore the created space, participate in activity stations, listen to live music, enter a drawing for free books, and enjoy refreshments provided by Valero.  A detailed list of activities may be found below:

  • Listen to live music provided by several Basha High School Orchestra students between 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

  • Attend Family Storytime at 6:30 p.m. in the program room.

  • Stop by the service desk between 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. to enter a drawing for free books provided by the Friends of the Chandler Public Library.

  • Visit drop-in activity stations for all ages.  Coloring and Duplo for children, Origami crane and button maker activity for ages 12 and up, and adult coloring and puzzle stations for adults.

  • Enjoy refreshments donated by Valero.

Basha library opened in 2002. It is a shared use facility with CUSD and serves southeast Chandler. For more information, call 480-782-2800.
