Our Stories: Ghost Riders in The Sky: The Story and Songs of Stan Jones In-Person

Join author Michael Ward and musician Keeter Stuart for a celebration of the life and creative legacy of the gifted western songwriter Stan Jones.  An Arizona native, Jones picked up his guitar during his time as a park ranger and wrote classic cowboy songs such as “Cowpoke,” “The Searchers,” and “Burro Lullaby.” Discover how Jones was inspired to write his most famous song, “Ghost Riders in the sky,” an eerie tune which has been performed by The Outlaws, Gene Autry, Johnny Cash, and many more. Stuart, who is the great nephew of Stan Jones, will perform the classic western songs his Uncle Stan wrote.
